Trent and I have known Kate + Mike since our days of living at the The Stacks Lofts when we were just a few doors down from one another on the 5th floor of the H Building.  There was something about life at the Stacks that led to the most brilliant of ideas, including when Kate asked Trent and I if we’d come to her and Mike’s wedding in Cancun to photograph it.  At that point I was still a somewhat new photographer, and I was honored that she believed in me enough to take me all the way to Mexico.  Of course we didn’t hesitate, and well, we’ve been good friends ever since!

When Kate asked if I’d come back to Atlanta last month to photograph her family, it was a no brainer for me.  We dodged a few rain showers, but thankfully we were able to sneak in some great photos of her and her sweet family on beautiful Wood Road in Milton, GA.  The trail we were on was one that Kate walked each morning of both her pregnancies, and of course held special significance.  We had such a wonderful time hopping around, and loved getting the chance to catch up.  I hope you enjoy this little preview of their most beautiful little family.  Enjoy! xoxo
