We'll meet for coffee, brainstorming the details of lighting, vibes, and must-haves for your wedding, or your lifestyle photography session. I will take the time to get to know you, and your story. I care to know your passions, I love learning about the places life has taken you, I want to understand the things that make your kids light up, and I absolutely want to laugh with you as you make your guesses for who will be the best dancer on the dance floor at your reception. I love and want to be involved in every aspect of getting you in front of my camera. And that's ultimately what makes it easy for you. By the time we're taking pictures, the trust is there, I'm already a friend, and well, the magic just sort of occurs. We hug, your shoulders relax, we put on some tunes, and we hang. How do I even start? Adrienne is absolutely incredible. I honestly thought that it was impossible to get pictures of my family that I LOVED, and I was terribly mistaken. Wrangling a 2 year old and an 8 month old is not easy, but Adrienne did it with ease and completely captured each of our personalities over and over and over again. My only regret is that I didn't meet Adrienne years ago and have her do our wedding, pregnancy and new family photos. We are so thankful for Adrienne and her beautiful work!

There aren't enough good words to describe how great Adrienne is! I first met her when she photographed my matron of honor's wedding three years ago, and I knew I was going to ask her to be mine some day. Absolutely. While my primary approach to any wedding day or portrait session is to focus on a more documentary-style approach, I value the importance of formal portraits. Every now and again, I'll have clients who only want documentary-style - but in almost every wedding or portrait session, there will be a portion of the time devoted to more formal images for sure.
As a documentary-style photographer, do you do any posed shots? Like Family Formals?
I'm a Nikon girl, and have just recently made the switch to mirrorless - hello, new Z6II's!! I swear by my 70-200mm lens, but I also use a 35mm, and 24-70mm for indoor shots. Though I try my hardest to utilize natural light whenever possible, come dance floor time, I've got my Profoto lights on ready to make some swirly, fun, dancing magic. I bring backup gear always.

Weddings are my jam! My very first paid photography session was an elopement, and I've been hooked on weddings ever since. When I'm not shooting weddings, I love portrait work. Whether that is in the form of a couple's engagement, anniversary, or just because session, or in the form of family portraits, senior portraits, or lifestyle branding sessions. I also love to creatively think through new ideas to push myself as a photographer, and am often on the lookout for models. If you'd like to be put on my on-call models list, please send me an email.
What sort of photography do you shoot? Just Weddings?
I am now currently based in Birmingham, AL but I have lived in both Atlanta, GA and the Midwest (Peoria, IL area) and as a result, do travel back to both locations for my work. As a beach girl, I will happily travel for events on 30A/South Walton, FL, the South Carolina and Georgia coasts, and destinations throughout Alabama, Mississippi, Georgia, and Florida. I follow the fun - where you go, I go, happily.

I graduated from Gettysburg College with degrees in Biology and German, then went on to take courses for an MBA. Photography was always just something I was drawn to, and as a natural people person, I decided to finally take the leap towards doing it full time. I haven't looked back since.

My name is Jordan, middle name Quinn. My friends, family, and clients call me "Jo." I’d say my career as a photographer happened by accident all the way back in 2009 but has flourished since then because this is 100% what I was put on this earth to do. I am my best self when I am creating, making, and gathering from life as it happens. As an artist, photography is the medium that allows me to soak up, transpose, and contribute back to all of it. This life and career have allowed me to document radiant weddings, authentic lifestyles and compelling brands from Alaska to Mexico, Hawaii to Iceland, and plenty of extraordinary places in between.
