I'm a California born, NYC raised, southern souled, ocean lover on a mission to make the most of my days and meet some pretty awesome people along the way.

My time, your time, it's precious - and fleeting - and perhaps that is the biggest why behind what I do. I believe in preserving memories, not just for ourselves to admire and look back upon, but for the legacies we leave behind. Memories for our children, and our children's children, memories that will tell the story of your life for generations to come. My greatest joys are found in both putting people at ease, and showing someone just how beautiful they truly are. In my work as a photographer, I gravitate to intriguing textures, and fun people - and as such, you'll see that the majority of my work is upbeat, light-hearted, and taken in off-the-beaten-path, yet strikingly beautiful locations.  In now ten years (pinch me!) of serving as a wedding + lifestyle photographer, I've captured mountaintop elopements in Colorado, new babies being born in small-town hospitals, stunning intimate dinners under gorgeous old oak trees in coastal South Carolina, and weekend-long wedding affairs on lakes in New Hampshire and beaches in Mexico. I've met hundreds of incredible couples and families, so many of whom now feel like old friends.  Often times, when I think of my own life, it amazes me at how much I've been able to be a part of, how many grandparents I have hugged, how many nerves I have calmed, how many laughs I have shared, and how many places I have been blessed to travel to. My, the stories these cameras of mine have told! I am forever grateful to clients who believe in my vision, trust my ability to put them at ease, and hire me to come along for the beautiful ride that is their lives.  I care deeply about my work, and the images I produce, and do everything in my power to make not just the images - but the experience someone has working with me, nothing short of exceptional.

When I'm not behind the lens, you can find me hanging out with my family - my hubby, Trent, and our three children - Kai, Miles, and Hudson Grace.  Together we reside with our pup in the mountains outside of Birmingham, AL (yes, there are mountains here!) We've also called Illinois and Georgia home, so sometimes you see me headed back. When we're not home, we're likely at the beach (we work to live, what can I say), and when we are home, we've got Darius Rucker on repeat, smiling - bourbon mules in hand - thinking how great this life truly is.

I believE...

My name is Jordan, middle name Quinn. My friends, family, and clients call me "Jo." I’d say my career as a photographer happened by accident all the way back in 2009 but has flourished since then because this is 100% what I was put on this earth to do. I am my best self when I am creating, making, and gathering from life as it happens. As an artist, photography is the medium that allows me to soak up, transpose, and contribute back to all of it. This life and career have allowed me to document radiant weddings, authentic lifestyles and compelling brands from Alaska to Mexico, Hawaii to Iceland, and plenty of extraordinary places in between. The responsibilities of being a worldwide visual storyteller continuously light me up, and it truly knocks my socks off that I get to do what I do every day.
