Our family moved to Birmingham, AL this past June, and I have got to say it – I absolutely adore this city.  The past six months I have had the most fun exploring all the beautiful surprises that abound in this Magic City, including surprises like this one – amazing friends, that I’ve known for 10+ years, ALSO living here or relocating here – this guy below, included.

Birmingham, you are full of so many incredible treats for the soul, but nothing compares to your people.  Whether it’s been reconnecting with old friends who now also live here, meeting new friends through my work, or simply just enjoying the spirit of the south in our relationships with neighbors, school friends, and so forth – our time here already, has been chock full of love, and laughter, and so, so, so many amazing meals – shared with some of the absolute very best people on Earth.  I am ever thankful to call this city home.
