On what was very likely the coldest day of 2018, Linda + Roland were married in front of their closest family and friends, in a small, intimate New Year’s Day wedding celebration at the United Methodist Church of Williamsfield. Linda is hands down, one of my favorite people that I’ve met in our time in Illinois. She radiates an energy and enthusiasm for life that I respect and appreciate, and man is she funny! When I got the invitation to her wedding celebration, to take place the Saturday after her ceremony, I immediately messaged her to ask if she had a photographer. Knowing that it was a smaller, more intimate affair, I had this feeling that I needed to ask. And I’m so glad I did. Linda and Roland’s wedding was one of my favorite. It was small, it was intimate, and with just a simple cake celebration after, it was all about the union of these two wonderful souls and the merging of their two beautiful families. I often cry at weddings, especially during the vows, but this wedding had me tearing up on the drive home as well. I just loved every little thing about this wedding. I loved the couple, I loved their families, and well, it all just felt so…very…right.
I am honored to have been the one to photograph this beautiful union. Grab a warm cup of coffee and join me in reliving this most perfect afternoon!
Wishing you two a lifetime of love + happiness, Linda + Roland!!
Cheers! xoxo
